Build: 1.0.9 - April 7, 2025

Hey there survivors! We’ve got a hot batch of bug fixes and improvements to get you through the party apocalypse. Here’s what’s new:

🌟 New Features

  • Added Smooth Turn Option – Because not everyone enjoys snapping their neck every time they turn.
  • New Meta Upgrades! Time to power up with these fresh additions:
    • In Air Auto Crit – Grounded enemies that get launched into the air will now automatically take critical hits. A little extra punishment for leaving the ground.
    • Melee Weapon Bonus Candy – Hitting an enemy with a melee weapon has a chance to make them drop candy—while they’re still alive! Smack first, snack later.
    • Party Box on Radar – Now available as an upgrade! Unlock this to reveal Party Boxes on your minimap and never miss out on extra loot.
    • Heal on Level Up – Leveling up from candy collection now heals you. Because getting stronger should feel good.
    • Party Box Minimum Increase – Guarantees you’ll get more gifts from Party Boxes. Generosity in the apocalypse? We love to see it.
  • New Stage Start Screen! – When you revisit a completed stage, a new screen will highlight your objectives and achievements—because knowing what you’re fighting for is half the battle.

🛠️ General Fixes & Improvements

  • The piñatas are getting smarter! Updates have been made to their pathing AI so they’re even deadlier than before.

🎨 Visual Updates

  • Lost Vegas Stage: Added new Electrical Box VFX and animations to bring more life to the environment.
  • Some Piñatas had lazy red eye VFX that weren’t showing up properly. We gave them an eye exam and got that sorted.
  • Shredmeister, Funder Drone, Jaw Dropper, and Pop Sweeper now move with style—animations added so they don’t just awkwardly exist.

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Smoothed out some unexpected hand jitter—your hands should only shake from adrenaline, not bugs.
  • No more endless weapon upgrades! Fixed an issue where a weapon upgrade could reappear in the selection pool after you hit max weapons.
  • Fixed a sneaky bug where swapping weapons during the intro could break things before the action even started.
  • Gadget hoarders, rejoice! Once you’ve picked six unique gadget upgrades in a run, all other gadget choices will stop showing up—no more tough decisions.
  • Fixed an issue where players in multiplayer could ready up with the achievement panel still open—turns out, fighting through a stage with a giant menu in your face isn’t a great strategy.
  • Fixed a bug where clicking the + & - buttons on settings would set them to 100% and 0% respectively.
  • Various crash fixes.
  • Various sound effect fixes.

That’s all for now, Survivors! Keep the feedback coming, and we’ll see you in the apocalypse! 💀🔥
